Frequently Asked Questions
How much do you charge for a purchase?
When considering the cost of buying a house, you have to factor in more than just the listing price and lawyer fees. Disbursements such as the following can have a large impact on the total cost of buying a house. These fees may include but are not limited to;
- Water Certificate
- Tax Certificate
- Executions Certificate
- Administration charges
- Courier fees
- Software transaction fees
- Title Search
- Register Transfer
- Register Charge
- Title Insurance
In some cases, this might not cover all of the applicable disbursement fees. It’s important to note that these fees are not profitable for your lawyer, they are only fees incurred by the lawyer (and as such payable by you) in the process of buying a house.
